Deputy Prime Minister Trần Hồng Hà has approved Hải Phòng’s specialised economic zone to boost hi-tech industry and services while strengthening regional links and growth.
The 6,300ha free trade zone will consist of three non-contiguous sites connected to the Đình Vũ–Cát Hải Economic Zone and the southern coastal economic area.
The launch of the Free Trade Zone is widely seen as a key strategic step to transform Hải Phòng into a leading logistics and innovation hub in northern Việt Nam, strengthening its role in international trade and supply chains.
